Before we found our seats, we did a bit of exploring.checked out the Ernie Harwell statue got our photos taken with Paws, the Tigers mascot (free and taken by a Tigers staffer) took my bro's photo with the Miggy Cabrera bobblehead statue checked out some of the 'by decade' historical displays along the central arcade. To keep costs down, we opted for some upper deck seats on the first base side.
And a chance to see Cabrera in his last season. Justin Verlander on the mound for the Mets. So we ended up at Thursday afternoon game on a beautiful sunny day in the D! Tigers vs Mets. Ever the Detroit Tigers fan, he wanted to attend a game while he was in town. My brother and sister-in-law were visiting from out West.
